Calvin Jo (CJ) Friedlander is a filmmaker from Seattle, Washington, and a recent graduate of DePaul University’s School of Cinematic Arts, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television. Known for his kinetic visual style, dark humor, and genre-bending storytelling, his work spans short films, digital content, YouTube videos, and feature-length productions.

CJ is passionate about building collaborative, welcoming sets where creativity thrives. Through self-financed independent films and freelance projects, he continues expanding his creative range while crafting dynamic stories that immerse audiences in new worlds and experiences.
